Let’s face it, it’s a whole lot easier for the enemy to keep you from doing something than to shut you down after you’ve started…especially if you’re from The River Church!
Your enemy wants you quiet!
Why do people get quiet?
– When they are intimidated
– When they are scared
– When they are tired
– When they are losing
– When they don’t have anything to say
Why do people grow loud?
– When they are excited
– When they are happy
– When they feel powerful
– When they are winning
– When they want to be heard
What you feed on is what fills you, and what fills you is what flows out of you.
Matthew 10:16-28 – you will be persecuted but don’t fear them
John 20:19-22 – the disciples were assembled in fear when Jesus appeared to them and breathed on them

The Word of God must be continually entering into us for us to remain victorious.
Without that entrance of the Word into our hearts and minds and the reminder of the Truth and Victory that we live in, the influence of the world, through situations and circumstances, tries to drown out the voice of the Spirit.
We cannot acclimate ourselves to the world and its carnal surroundings, its ways and patterns of thinking and speaking.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
We are called to stand out, to be different, to be a light in darkness. “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” Philippians 2:15
